Hi regulars,
I hadn't planned on writing today. You never know what will happen in the next minute of life. That's the magic of it. You think you're in control, but then —bam! — something you haven't foreseen happens. That's life spiting in your coffee. You wake up in the morning, get ready, and try to get into the flow. But today's flow feels like a stream of water from a hose. A weak, shitty one. So you feel... I don’t know, discombobulated? Is that a stretch? Maybe. But DeepL says it fits, so I'll stick with it.
It’s getting dark here. Night-night to the east, and good day to the west. And remember: you never know what’s waiting for you around the corner. Hopefully, tomorrow's flow will have a better pressure.

I kinda like the misspelling of spitting. If spite could be a verb, it’d fit.
@Nemvagok. I enjoy playing with language, but this time it was just a mistake. Thanks for your comment. Now I have one fewer word to memorize! 😊
@Coral I can see you enjoy mixing metaphors :) Can you explain the intended meaning of the title?
@elAmericanoTranquilo. I was wondering if "hood" is slang for "neighborhood"and whether "hood rambling" could be used to mean something like "Reflexiones callejeras".
@Coral I see, yes it is a slang term for neighborhood (sometimes written 'hood to make the connection more clear), but be careful: it can have a negative connotation depending on the usage and context: https://www.reddit.com/r/StLouis/comments/s651d2/what_does_living_in_a_hood_mean/
Thank you, @elAmericanoTranquilo. I have trouble finding out whether a word is just casual slang or ... one of those other kinds. 😅
Indeed, we all have ups and downs. I can relate this.
@T-Newfields It couldn't be ups if there weren't downs, and vice versa. That's how the ball bounces. :)
