I've been growing some mushrooms at home and regularly posting updates about them. If you are curious about my previous posts, please check out: first mushroom, second mushroom. Lately, the weather has been warm, and once again, a large brown mushroom has sprouted.
This time, the mushroom was even larger than the previous one.
I still don’t understand why the kit always produces a single, oversized mushroom.
Then, I noticed another mushrooms were growing from the other kit.
I've never seen mushrooms like these before, but they are finally a group of mushrooms!
I have no idea how much mushrooms I'll get from these kits, but I guess they finally started paying off?
I've learned growing mushrooms at home is more challenging than I expected, so I probably won't try it again. It's just too expensive.

Do you have a compost? Pretty sure there's something called mushroom compost where it is easy for mushrooms to grow in. I am unsure what type of mushrooms you can grow in it though, but could be something to look into if you're enjoying your mushrooms.
@Aki_ さん そのウエブサイト素敵ですね!そして、私の購入したキットよりも安い!!!ご紹介ありがとうございます。
@via-chan Thank you for introducing the compost. I bought kits and don't use it. Even so, I'm very curious about compost (not for mushrooms, though). I've been growing white, brown, black wood ear and shaggy ink cap.
Near to my mother's house there is a mushroom farm. You can buy a wide variety of mushrooms there. Far more than the 3 or 4 varieties you can get in UK supermarkets. I have yet to visit it though...
@t4up3 Wow, I'm so jealous! I'd love to visit the mushroom farm!!!! When you visit there, please let me know or if you have some spare time, please write about it!!!
