Even though it took over three years, I finally completed a vest for my husband. Hooray!!!!
Three years ago, my knitting skills weren't good enough to finish it, so I put it down. I almost gave up on it, but I learned a new technique through knitting my red vest, which you can check here. I realized I could use the same technique for the vest, so I decided to start knitting it again.
It was a long journey to finish it, but I'm happy now. This vest is technically called a Fair Isle vest, which originated in the Shetland Islands, Scotland. Since making patterns by knitting two different colored yarns, it's much warmer than plain vests. It definitely needs lots of patience. I feel like completing this project really helped me build my grit, lol.
It's getting warmer, and I prefer knitting smaller projects next time.

That’s so impressive! I’ve tried smaller projects before, so I can only imagine how satisfying it feels to finally finish something on this scale. The vest looks great!
Thank you for the comment. Exactly! Completing something is so much fun and the feeling is just amazing! It definitely makes us feel happy.
Looks beautiful!
