That's my first post here on Journaly. I will talk about my day.

Monday 5th January, 2026: back to work

This morning before work, I listened to a podcast in French. It was pretty interesting because I discovered "Sleep no more." I would liked to know it earlier.

"Sleep no more" was a play presented in New York where participants/spectators could walk through the play. Some of the spectators may have interactions with comedians. It was not as usual when you stay sit down in a theatre chair.

Then in English class, we talked about New Year's Celebrations. We read an article, answered some questions about the article and conversation about our New Year vacation time.

Do you know that a long time ago, there were only 10 months and not 12? Do you know that in Canada, some people jump into frigid lakes for New Year, they call it the Polar Bear dip?

We also did a game with my classmates. We were in groups and had affirmations about Territories and Provinces in Canada. We had to find which affirmation goes to which place.

For example:

• ... was divided into two in 1999.

• Its flag had a dog.
• ... is where Medicare started.

And more...

That was a fun and ludic way to learn and remember.
