In June, I suffered from heatstroke, then went to Nagoya on a business trip and caught a cold there just before my move. I've been so exhausted and sick that I haven't been able to think in English at all, but now the hardest part of the move is finally over.
Right now, I’m waiting for my friend at a café—she’s going to drive me to the station. Thank goodness they’re playing Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by the Beatles here. Good music always heals me, while bad music irritates me to no end. I’m staying at a hotel near my new apartment tonight, and tomorrow I just have to watch my things being moved in.

Happy moving! Hope you're feeling better now!
Thank you so much, @Double-Zee ! I’m feeling much better now and I’m on the bullet train.
Great post! As hard as moving is, there's something so exhilarating about starting life out in a new place. Waking up that first morning in a new bedroom is like the beginning of good book. Change can be so exciting — I hope you embrace it and enjoy it. God bless you and your new home!
Thank you, Uly! Your words are like good music; they lift my spirits. I appreciate your kind words and encouragement!
Hearing The Beatles playing in public should be a sign of good luck haha. Good luck with finishing up moving in! My sister recently moved and some of her stuff is still in boxes even though it's been a few weeks lol.
Thank you, @via-chan ! Honestly, I'm way worse than your sister when it comes to procrastinating, but this time, I really made an effort to declutter, so I'm hoping I'll be able to finish unpacking smoothly. Today was my third day in my new apartment, and I’m already loving it here!
Good job using 'procrastinating'... I didn't even think to use that word, but that's exactly what my sister is doing lmao. I'm glad you're liking you're new place.
