The rainy season has just started, and it's been raining for two days in a row. Rainy weather makes me feel sluggish, and that's why I don't like this season. I tend to spend the day being lazy, and then I regret it. I really don't want to have such negative feelings during such an annoying season.
So, this morning, I got up a bit earlier than usual and baked some cardamon banana bread. Baking lifts my spirits and makes me feel happy. I like starting a day with something joyful. It makes me feel like I can do anything I want. I'd love to cherish this feelings
I couldn't enjoy gardening or exercising because of the rain but I enjoyed baking! Thanks to that, I could spent a fruitful day!
I'm curious how do you spend your time on rainy days? Do you have some specific things to do on the days? How do you overcome the feeling when you feel sluggish?
If you are curious about cardamon banana bread, here is the recipe.

Yum! If the rain is really heavy, I love putting on a movie and letting myself knit for a a few hours. Mine and my family's favourite rainy day movie is Howl's Moving Castle -- I've seen it so many times I can quote lines haha.
Whew, looks like I just missed the rainy season :) Lucky!
You'll have to send me your recipe for cardamom banana bread sometime. I really like banana bread, but adding cardamom sounds interesting.
@via-chan Thank you for sharing! It's wonderful that your family has a special movie for rain. I haven't see the movie yet, but I have a book in English. I'd love to read it first.
@Ersatzjello You are so lucky! Since the rainy season started, it rains every day. You can click the blue word "recipe" in the last sentence, and it jumps to my previous post, which is the recipe.
