This journal entry is a sequel to my previous entries: Part 1 and Part2
My garden has been getting much livelier, and lots of varieties of roses have been in full bloom. Over twenty varieties of roses have been planted in my garden. Each rose has its own unique shape, color and fragrance even among a same variety. So, I've been busy for taking their photos. I'd love to capture their most beautiful moments in pictures.
This rose in the picture below has been trained to climb on the wall next to the entrance door. This year, it created much bigger flowers, so they look stunning. This rose, Pierre de Ronsard is my first one ever I've cared for, and it made me become a rose lover. This rose is so lovely and almost perfect, but I wish it would have a little bit more fragrance. This reminds me of nothing is perfect.
The picture below shows a Japanese variety called Gunmai in Japanese. They produce cute rose hips in the fall. Since this is a climbing rose, it needs an arch to support it. I have to prepare one.
The next photo features an English rose from David Austin roses, which is named after Desdemona from one of the characters in Othello by William Shakespeare.
This rose gradually changes color from soft-pink to ivory while opening, and they look mysterious.
The picture below shows one of my apricot colored roses called Tea Clipper, which is also from David Austin roses. This one is no longer in production, so I'd love to take cuttings in this fall.
The tiny yellow roses in the picture is a variety of miniature rose.
The pink rose in the picture below is another English rose from David Austin roses, which is called Gertrude Jekyll. This rose has an incredible scent.
Since this is a climbing rose, it needs an arch, so I have to prepare for it soon.
The next picture shows Angela, which is another climbing rose.
The white tiny flowers are belonged to a variety called Francis.E.Lester, which also produce beautiful rose hips in the fall.
Not only the roses, but other plants also have started blooming. The several pictures below show some of my Clematis collections.
Two more different varieties of roses have just started blooming as well.
This red-violet rose in the picture below is a gift from a friend who loves roses. I have some rose-loving friends, and we sometimes exchange seedlings which are made from our varieties. This is called Blue Boy.
The soft-purple colored rose is called Rainy Blue. Mine has just begun to bloom.
The last one is called Bolero, which has also an amazing fragrance. My Bolero has also started blooming.
More and more flowers will start blooming soon, and I'll share their lovely pictures!

You have a beautiful garden!
Hi, @Shauna. Nice to meet you! Thank you for taking a look at my post, correcting it and commenting!
No problem, @yumiyumayume :)
Wow, so many different flower varieties. Your garden looks beautiful!
Thank you, @Ersatzjello
These varieties are gorgeous! I've never seen some of them, for example, the Gunmai. Do you like hydrangeas too? I came to like them in Japan, and I planted three varieties in my garden last autumn.
@polyglotsparadise I love hydrangeas too! I have two varieties in my garden. One has started budding flowers while the other one hasn't done yet. Probably, both will bloom, though.
