From My Garden Part 2

by

This journal entry is a sequel to my previous entry. Some of the flowers have already finished blooming, but I still want to share their pictures with you. My narcissus bloomed in early April, and now the yellow iris is in bloom.

The yellow iris.

I have two varieties of violet, and both flowered this year too. Now, they are producing seeds, and I'm excited to plant them.

My muscari have also finished blooming, and I'm already looking forward to seeing them again next spring.

I planted some of lily of the valley last year, and they bloomed this year as well. They have an amazing fragrance. I hope they'll spread and bloom even more next year.

My granny's bonnet is called miyama-odamaki in Japanese. There are Japanese and Western varieties.

The picture below shows my marguerite daisies . I have three different varieties and love them all.

The next picture shows my American wisteria. Although my Japanese wisteria has already finished blooming, this variety has just started blooming! Since it grows more slowly than the Japanese kind, it’s still quite short.

You can see two orange flowers in the picture below.

They are roses that have just started blooming. The variety is called Lady of Shalott, one of the English roses by David Austin roses.

The next rose is a Japanese variety. I love its brownish pink color. It blooms both in spring and fall, so I've planted it near the entrance. It greets us every time we come home or when guests come.

Here is another rose near the entrance, which is called Eustacia Vye, one of the English roses by David Austin roses. It has a wonderful fragrance, so I’m absolutely thrilled with it!

The picture below shows Olivia Rose Austin, one of the English roses by David Austin roses. It's blooming day by day, and the Eustacia Vye and Olivia rose fill the entrance with their incredible scent.

I spotted a bug hiding inside one of the Olivia roses.

The yellow rose is a Japanese variety called lemon, and you can also see another rose bush behind it.

This rose is a climbing variety and I'd love to train it to climb up the wall. Right now it's glowing in all directions, so I'll need to trim it after it finishes blooming.

Another climbing rose that has awesome aroma. Since it has planted close to the door, every time I open it, I can enjoy the scent.

There's one more different climbing rose called Pierre de Ronsard, which is one of the most popular roses in the world. It's also started blooming. So, my garden is getting livelier day by day!
