Almost a month ago, I wrote about my homegrown strawberries. I had just planted six strawberries back then. Since then, I've taken photos of them from time to time. So, I'd love to share their progress with you today.
When I planted them, they were just small seedlings.
When I found the first tiny young fruit growing, I was very excited! Even though they don’t ripen into red, juicy fruit overnight, I often went out to check them how they grew.
They were gradually growing and turned slightly red.
Not only the fruit, but their leaves were also getting larger. The plants themselves were growing.
They are constantly creating flowers. They kept growing their shoots as well.
This morning, I noticed two of the strawberries looked perfect to pick.
Look at these beautiful strawberries! Before growing them, I thought growing strawberries might be difficult. We have to pay attention to snails and slugs, but except those, it's quite simple. After picking two, my husband and I shared each of them. They tasted very juicy and sweet!
Now, they are creating fruit more and more. I'm quite enjoying taking care of them. I still don't know how many strawberries I'll end up harvesting, but I'd love to enjoy my homegrown organic strawberries. I'll definitely grow them again next year.

ゆみさんの手のひらに2個おさまるサイズの苺で安心しました😉
Nice! Do you have any garden pests that eat the strawberries? (In Shizuoka, I have had this problem.)
Thank you, @via-chan. Yes, time goes by so fast!
@Aki_ さん、確かにw!最近は、本当に、すごいですね。家庭で育てるイチゴでも甘い!!
@T-Newfields We have frogs that eat flowers, but I'm not sure they eat strawberries yet. Some of my violets had eaten by them.
