I love looking around at gardening shops, so a couple of weeks ago, I went to the closest shop from my house.
I enjoyed looking at flower seedlings, vegetable seedlings and garden tools. For some reason, just being around them makes me feel energized. I don't think I can live without plants.
Since I'm a huge fan of strawberries, these strawberry seedlings caught my eye. When I stared at them closely, I noticed they already had some fruit on them. How cute they are! I thought it must be fascinating to grown them. I imagined how fan it would be to take care of them and how wonderful I would check them growing. These seedlings made me think I should give it a try.
So, I went home with six strawberry seedlings .
This is my first time trying to grow strawberries! I was so excited that I started planting them as soon as I got home.
Unfortunately, I didn't have enough empty containers, so I planted two in a large container and the other four in individual small pots.
When I planted them, some of the seedlings already had flower buds. Now, they're growing well and some of them have started blooming!
Right now, they haven't bear any fruit yet, but I hope they will do soon. I’ll share an update about my strawberries once there’s more progress.

I also plant strawberries. However, slugs and snails often eat strawberries. You might need to make sure that slugs and snails do not eat the strawberries.
Strawberries are cute, aren't they? My mum has a big strawberry patch. I wish I had a green thumb, but being out in the garden doesn't interest me unless I'm spending time with my mum. The other day, I wanted to eat scrambled eggs with tomatoes, but there were no tomatoes. But, I was able to just walk outside and pick a tomato growing in our garden. I felt grateful my mother takes the effort to garden and wondered whether I'll garden when I no longer live with her. (By the why, tomatoes are a summer fruit, but ours are especially late this year...).
@T-Newfields Thank you for the advice. I've known about this, so I have to keep eye on my strawberries.
@via-chan Your mom is awesome! I wish I had a green thumb too! Yes, fresh vegetables or fruit are the best! You are so lucky!!
