The Nightmarish Safari

It was early morning. Boris and Natasha were eating breakfast on the cozy porch of the hut that they’d booked in Karnataka. All around them was an atmosphere of pure serenity; the sun was shining, and the birds were singing. After breakfast, the couple walked around the garden admiring its beauty.

Then it was time to get back to the hut and get ready for the safari. The hut was quite small, but there was pretty much everything for that sort of outing there: several bottles of water, a pair of binoculars, insect repellent and a huge flashlight. The funniest thing is that Natasha took that flashlight and stuck it into her pocket. Boris couldn’t believe his eyes.

"Are you kidding me? Why would you take that giant thing? It’s light out!" exclaimed Boris.

"This big flashlight can come in handy when we need to run a wild animal off."

"You go, girl!" Boris grinned.

"What’s so funny?"

"Well, what can I say… that’s a very clever solution to a very strange problem. But if it’ll make you feel safer, have at it!"
