My second dog, Kai, has grown so much, and next month he'll turn one year old! He's so adorable that he always melts my heart. Before starting walking, he posed for me, and I took a nice shot. This might be good to paint his portrait.
I usually don't walk during the day because my husband bikes with two of our dogs in early morning. However, yesterday he went golfing with several of his friends, so I had to take the dogs for a walk. It was still hot, so I left our old black Lab at home.
Just walking with Kai would be boring, so we played a game that who could find more signs of fall. Figs aren't a fruit for fall, but I came across some.
I found some citrus fruits, but I have no idea what kind they are. They're still green, but they'll turn orange soon.
I also spotted persimmons.
We passed by some eggplants. I was jealous because all of mine have already died.
Kai found a chestnut shell.
He also spotted a dead dragonfly.
Kai greeted Elle, and I realized that Elle is really getting old.
We both walked through some rice fields. The ears of rice were completely dropping, and the grains seemed to become larger.
I realized that the sky and the cloud looked like fall. They no longer looked like a summer sky.
Kai seemed to enjoy walking with me during the day. I think I should take him for daytime walks from time to time and spoil him a bit.

A beautiful walk!
Thank you!
He's so cute!!!!
Here when the summer is coming to an end, usually the leaves turn a much duller green before eventually changing colour and falling off the trees. The duller green is usually in August - when you're driving outside of the city, you can tell summer is starting to come to an end. Then in either September or October, the leaves start changing colours. But you also can feel a change in the weather - a few weeks ago, it started feeling cooler like autumn was here.
@Shauna Recently we had lots of rain and I think the rain brought fall here. It's getting cooler and we sometimes feel chilly. I love looking at leaves changing.
@yumiyumayume yes, I wouldn't like living somewhere where there are no strong changing seasons - I would miss the changes!
@Shauna So would I!
