This entry is a sequel to my previous post. We left the museum and headed to our favorite cafe near the museum. We used to go there when we visited the museum. It was our first time there since she became a mom. The cafe is from Taiwan, so we can enjoy looking around Taiwanese products as well. Neither my daughter nor I have visited Taiwan, so we also hope we'll be able to go there someday.
After looking around at their products, we had a Taiwanese sweet called 豆花 (tofu pudding) and iced chai. We have lots of Taiwanese cafes, but I think this one is the best, and this cafe serves the best 豆花.
The green one contains matcha. In Japan, 豆花 is very popular, and we both love it. I've never made it on my own, but I guess I can make it at home. I'd love to give it a try.
Going out with my daughter is always so much fun. I had missed our bonding time so much, so I had a wonderful time with her.

Glad you had a wonderful time with your daughter. I lived in Taiwan for 2 years. It has lots of yummy food!
豆花 is one of my favorite dessert ! In Hong Kong (called 豆腐花), it is usually with ginger syrup. I haven't tried Taiwanese style yet but I heard the Taiwanese tofu is a bit chewier and firmer than HK's. The matcha one looks delicious too, I'd like to try it ! おいしそう^.^
@T-Newfields Thank you as always, Tim-san. You sound like a very international person!
@Bonney Before Hong Kong was returned to China, I visited there with my mom. It was so much fun. Thank you for sharing your version. I love ginger syrup and would love to try it with it. I prefer plain one, but matcha one was also good.
