My love for English hasn't started right away. I remember having difficulties even with learning the alphabet and embarrassingly failing at pronouncing words and I still do. I even thought to give up on English completely and focus on German. However, I changed my opinion since I understood that the only thing that stops me from learning English is my self-doubt. Today I understand that English or languages generally is one of the things that helped me to not give up on myself and it still helps. Today, after running 6 kilometers I came home to reality that it is still not what I would like to have but I turned on music in English and suddenly I felt connected to the whole world and proud of the fact that I didn't give up on English. I'm still learning it and the learning process will never come to an end and that is good news. That is fantastic, that you will find something new almost every time you open a book or listen to a podcast. Even by writing this text I understand that I don't sound and express everything in English as I would like to, but I am fine with it and even happy with the fact that it is so much to explore and work on. That is the beauty of learning!
