I don't remember since when summer in Japan became such brutal. When I was young, I liked the season, but I can't say it anymore. I truly miss the summers when I was young.
Even so, I'm quite positive and love enjoying the little things in life. This summer, I really enjoyed fruit, especially my favorite peaches.
We have a peach tree, and this year it produced lots of fruit as well. (You can read the entry here.) We enjoyed the fruit every day, but those weren't good enough. I ordered more peaches. I ordered four boxes of peaches from different locations. All were excellent.
The peach season is over, and now we can enjoy grapes and figs. A couple of days ago, my husband and I went to a farmer's market in Nara to buy some grapes.
When we arrived there, it was almost 3 pm, which was a bit too late. We found some, but most of them had already been sold. We thought we should go there earlier.
The grape season has just begun, and I'm happy that I can enjoy it for a while.
After buying two bunches of grapes, I removed each grape from the stem to keep them fresh. Now, I'm looking forward to buying figs next.

That shine muscat looks fresh. I heard that the grapes were initially from Japan.
better title: Summer Fruit
@YuMiFan Thank you for reading and commenting. You're so right. I know they are growing both in China and Korea now. I have a mix feeling about this.
@CocoPop Thank you as always!
