It's been extremely hot since the rainy season ended, so I've been avoiding unnecessary trips outside. I rather prefer staying at home to paint or knit.
I just finished a summer cardigan for myself, and it was so much fun to knit it because I love knitting pointelle patterns.
The summer yarn is from Norway, and it was easy to knit because it has a good firmness. I sometimes focused on too much knitting to lose track of time.
Today, I went to my knitting class with a friend of mine and brought the cardigan to show everyone. The knitting shop holding knitting classes has a dress form, so I put the cardigan on it. The dress form wears a white pullover underneath, which makes the pointelle pattern stand out much more clearly than in the pictures above. I'm very happy with the result. Whenever I feel chilly in an air-conditioned room, I'm looking forward to wearing it. It weights only 200grams and really light.
