Ever since the rainy season ended, the temperature has been around 38°C (100°F) every day. I knew it would be hot, but it's been much hotter than I had imagined. It's almost impossible to get through the day without air conditioning, so we've been running two air conditioners 24 hours a day.
We have two dogs and a cat, and we were worried that they might suffer from heatstroke. They've been staying in an air-conditioned room all day to keep cool. I especially feel sorry for our younger dog, who is only eight months old. He probably wants to go outside and run around, but it's simply too hot. We take him for walks early in the morning and again in the evening, even though the temperature is still over 33°C (91°F). He's usually full of energy, but even he gets exhausted in this heat. Once summer is over, I'd love to take him to a dog park, so he can run freely and play frisbee. I'm sure we'll both have a great time!

38 is crazy. I can't even imagine... our hottest day this year was 30 and it was unbearable. Stay safe!
