Artists often draw inspiration from other artists' work, but they have their own unique styles, so the new versions often don't look alike the original. For example, Manet was inspired by a Titian's painting and he created his version of the same theme. Then, Monet also painted the same theme. I saw the Manet's and the Monet's at an exhibit in Japan. I didn't notice that they were based on the same theme until reading the explanation. Even Picasso created his own version. When you compare the Titian's original painting with the Manet's, the Monet's, and the Picasso's versions, you can see that each version captures each artist's feature very well. If you don't know the history behind these paintings, it might be hard for you to recognize these paintings have the same root.
Musicians also do the same thing. When I chatted with Matt, he introduced me three different artists performing the exact same song. Comparing three different versions are very interesting, so I also share them with you. The song was "Nothing Compares 2 U", originally created by Prince. Listening to three different artists perform the same song really shows how each singer brings something unique to it.
I've already known the Sinéad's version because it was very popular in the 90's, Japan, but I didn't know that Prince made this song.
Even though I used to listen to her version, when I heard Chris Cornell's, I immediately loved it.
Sinéad O'Connor's version
Prince's original version
Chris Cornell of Soundgarden's version
Pastoral Concert painted by Titian
.Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe painted by Édouard Manet
Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe painted by Claude Monet
Luncheon on the Grass, after Manet painted by Pablo Picasso
I love artists add their own tastes into the original art. It often makes the new versions look/sound much better. Do you agree with me?

@CocoPop and @SEQ77) Thank you as always for correcting and thank you for the comments. It's really sad that he committed suicide a decade ago. He had such am amazing voice.
It was truly tragic. He had such a soulful voice, and it really shone in this version of the song. Thank you for sharing; if I didn't love CC before, I love him even more now.
You're welcome and thank you for reading my post as well.
