Last month, a friend and I went to Nara to attend a pottery exhibit. I'd heard of the museum, but it was my first time visiting it.
The museum was very clean and beautiful. I was surprised that visitors can enjoy looking around any exhibits for free. When we visited, there was an exhibit local artists held. Nether my friend nor I create pottery, so we were fascinated by those pottery.
I especially loved the frog pottery in the picture below.
After that, we had lunch together. While eating, we talked about the exhibit. I'm curious about learning creating pottery because I think it would help me better understand how glazes, paints, and enamels work together.
After lunch, we also had some sweets, which was delicious.

@Ersatzjello Have you ever tried creating pottery before? It's not the same place we went, but they serve the similar sweets. I can't believe that it has passed a year since we met. Time goes by so fast, doesn't it?
