English
Ordinary questions like
“What’s your favorite beach (bitch)?”
can get us (as, ass)
non-native English speakers
into real trouble,
unless you’re a badass at speaking the language
or a sucker for phonetics (For what?😂 )
But if you’re like me,
full (fool) of hope for achieving decent pronunciation in English,
you’ve surely noticed
that certain words sound so similar
you can’t tell them apart.
If that’s the case,
take a piece (peace, piss) of paper
or a sheet (shit) of paper,
write down the ones
whose key sounds
you just can’t quite get right.
And practice,
mess it up,
laugh it off,
and try again.

I love your humor. Interesting how people in different parts struggle with different sounds. Japanese, for example, struggle with the [R] and [L] contrast. This is not a problem for Spanish speakers.
Thank you @T-Newfields Yes, we roll our Rs like nobody's business. : D
