Thanks to Women Beyond Silence, I'm having the chance to talk about hearing loss in a webinar after tomorrow. It's going to be my first online presentation at all.

I'm so excited about it and about getting one step closer to my goal of raising awareness of hearing impairment. I'm also so happy to have it in Arabic. Our Arab communities need to learn more and more about such an invisible disability. Hopefully, this will be the start of other collaborations to advocate hearing loss in Arabic.

In this webinar, I'm going to share my experience and journey with hearing loss which is a disability that many others suffer from. Many people out there don't hear well and they're unaware that solutions exist to help them cope with the hearing difficulties in their daily lives. Some who use hearing aids don't talk about their hearing loss with others or ask them for accommodations.
