I guess most readers don't remember this entry, so I'd like to share it again before writing about the sequel. This happened about half a year ago, and when I saw my vase was broken, I was shocked.
Since then, I'd been repairing it with kinstugi, which is a traditional Japanese technique for repairing broken china. It took almost half a year, but I finally finished it!
If you're curious how to repair with the kintsugi technique, please visit this entry. I followed the same steps to fix this vase as well.
What do you think? I prefer the piece with some gold lines. It looks more unique to me. Do you agree with me?
I'm quite happy with the result!
