ZZ wears many hats. She worked as a translator, a QA reviewer, a housekeeper, and a pet sitter (or: Her jobs varied between translation, QA, housekeeping and pet-sitting). She also volunteered on farms in Egypt, Sri Lanka and Nepal, and she's been her mother's caregiver for several months.

She is now on a journey of self-discovery. She's learning how to navigate the worlds of hearing loss and depression on her own and to speak up about them. She's on a mission to rewire her mind and change her attitude after years of silence and fearing stigma about her hearing impairment.

She writes to heal and to raise awareness.
