Last week, I had a Christmas party with my knitting friends. First, we had lunch together. Most of my knitting friends are more than ten years older than I, and they've been knitting since they were seven or eight years old. Even though, they aren't professional knitters, their skills and knowledge about knitting are much better than mine. We enjoyed chatting about knitting while having a lunch.

After lunch, we had my homemade pound cake with a cup of tea.

Then, we showed our knitting projects we had promised six months ago. It was fascinating to see other people's vests. None of them were exactly the same.

Some people haven't finished their projects yet.

One of them showed us a very cute scarf too.

We took another tea break and talked about our next projects. One of my friends showed us a vest from a British knitting magazine.

Probably, we'll knit the vest next time. After completing, we'll meet up again to show ours. I'm already looking forward to seeing everyone's finished work!
