Today I met a junior from my university for the first time in a while. The last time we met, she had been caught up in some trouble and was really struggling — not only mentally but also physically. She asked me how she could build her strength and improve her mental health, so I recommended Pilates and coaching. When I saw her today, she looked so much better. She told me she has been doing Pilates once a week and feels stronger. She also started coaching, which helped her think about a new career and make a positive fresh start. She even thanked me for introducing those things to her. I was genuinely happy to see her doing well. It made me really happy that she tried my advice right away and even thanked me.But I don’t think it was because of my advice — it was because she took action and kept going. She’s the one who turned everything around. I really admire people who try advice immediately. I want to learn from that.
The title should be written like this: "A Person Who Tries Others' Recommendations Right Away" (But personally, I like your style of title)
@schmamie I think she's actually an AI bot; she hasn't responded to anyone in her past posts and hasn't "liked" any of the corrections she's gotten. There's been a lot of bots here lately. Furthermore, her profile has one bar for English, when she obviously writes on a three-bar level.
That's a shame if true
I agree! If you look at her first post, she was welcomed to Journaly profusely and didn't respond one word. You'd think someone who knows enough English to write a post like this with one bar and yet only two mistakes, could certainly use that English to give some manner of response after five posts, but not a peep. AI is getting sophisticated! 😅
I'm so sorry for not responding earlier. I’ve been focusing on writing my daily English journal, and I haven’t been able to reply to comments right away.
I really wish there were reaction buttons on Journaly — since there are only comments, I kept thinking about what to say and ended up missing the right timing to reply.
But I truly appreciate all of your advice. I want to learn from your feedback and make good use of it. And just to clarify — I’m not an AI! I only wish I could speak English as quickly and fluently as an AI. 😂
@schmamie Thank you for explaining that! I didn’t know titles use capitalization for the main words. I’ll remember it for next time.
@CocoPop Thank you for your message, Uly. And thank you for checking my posts so carefully. I’ll try to respond more regularly from now on. Your support and feedback really help me learn. 😊
I'm delighted that you're not AI! But honestly, your English needs three bars at least. You write like a native for the most part. Well done! PS: The reaction buttons are the hearts next to your corrections.
@CocoPop Thank you! I write very slowly because I look up many words. I still make mistakes, so your corrections help me a lot. I’m grateful. I want to keep learning. Thank you again!
