This post is a squeal to part 8, and if you are interested in it, please click here.

To learn more about my Egyptian friend ZZ's country, my husband and I headed to the Egyptian Pavilion. There was another long line, and we had to wait for two hours to get in.

The decoration made us feel as if we were actually inside a pyramid.

There was a replica of Tutankhamen's coffin and his mummy. If they were real, the Egyptian Pavilion would definitely become one of the best at the Expo.

We watched a screen of about an ancient city, which was very interesting.

We also saw a modern city with lots of tall buildings, and it made us think we were time-traveling.

The Iconic Tower in Egypt is the tallest skyscraper in Africa, which is 400 meters (1,300 ft). Japan's second tallest skyscraper in Osaka is Abeno Harukas, which is 300 m (984 ft). I've been there many times, but the Iconic Tower is 100 meter taller. Its view from the top must be incredible!

Next, we saw the Senegal's Pavilion.

I really liked the art in the picture below.

Not many countries display their leaders, but Senegal was one of the few that did. Its country's leader looked very young.

After leaving Senegal, we stopped by the Bangladesh's Pavilion.

Until visiting the pavilion, I didn't know that their national flag looked similar to ours. The one on the right side is Japan's national flag, and the one on the left is theirs.

Speaking of Bangladesh, of course, it's tea! They were showcasing lots of different kinds.

According to the panel in the picture below, they are the 9th largest tea producer in the world.

When we stepped outside, we saw fireworks. For a while, we enjoyed watching them.

Then, we visited the Azerbaijan's Pavilion.

There were several musical instruments on display. Unfortunately, there was no performance, so we couldn't hear what they sounded like.

They also showed us their traditional outfits for both men and women.

I have a good friend from Bolivia, who I studied porcelain painting together with in the US. So, when I came across her country's exhibit, I couldn't help taking some photos. If you are curious about photos of us together, click here. When you click the photos, you can see the wider versions. I’d love to visit her someday.

In the same pavilion, we spotted coffee. Since we are big fans, we bought two cups of iced coffee and some coffee beans from Burundi. It was a great discovery about coffee beans for us. We learned beans from Burundi was delicious.

Thank you so much for reading my Expo series. The next one will be the last one. Stay tuned!
