I need to put my mind at ease. What better way to do that than to tell you what just happened. Well, I was sitting in a chair when all of a sudden, I could feel everything rocking. Yep, I experienced what experts call a tremor—my first time ever, and hopefully the last! In case you're not familiar with the term, a tremor is a "mild" seismic movement. Whatever you call it, it definitely scared the shit out of me. I felt like I was on a fucking boat in rough seas.
This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, though. Italy is prone to earthquakes. However, Italy is not Japan. The vast majority of buildings here are old and cannot withstand an earthquake. So that's that. In case you don't hear back from me, you know...it's been a pleasure 👋.
OMG, please be careful. Your orders are to run outside at the first sign of any seismic activity! Journaly wouldn't be Journaly without our Simo!💝
I know how scary they are. Please stay safe and keep posting or commenting something. So, I can know that you are in safe!
Please, remember me for who I was: a gentle, innocent soul who hated the French with every fiber of his being.
Just in case, I'm being sarcastic.
@yumiyumayume 👍🧡
@Simone- I'll never ever forget you!!!!!! I didn't know that you hate French. Don't you like the French cuisine either?
Yumi, I was being sarcastic. It's quite common to make jokes about the French here in Italy. That said, it's true that some Italians loathe the French. I don't have an opinion on French food as I've never had the chance to try it.
@Simone- Mostly, I understand sarcasm, but I didn't get this one! My Italian friends speak French or Spanish, so I had believed that majority of Italians love France. I know Brits don't like France and Germany via my British friend, though. It's very interesting. Most of us are same. Majority of Japanese people don't like Chinese tourists in Japan, lol.
