Yesterday, I had a bus from Safaga to Luxor. The trip was okay until I got a headache. I thought I might have got dehydrated, and I would be fine as soon as I drank more water. However, I didn’t feel better after drinking water at home.

By the evening, the headache got worse and ended up vomiting four times and defecating twice. Throwing up is one of the worst things that I've ever experienced. I prefer to have a scar on my body to throw up. It feels terrible before, during and after experiencing it.

I had the same symptoms a few times a few weeks ago, in Giza and in Safaga. My guess was that the irregular movement of bowel was the blame, because later, when the bowel moved, the nausea and headache then alleviated. However, when I went to the general specialist to check hemorrhoids over a month ago, he said these symptoms might be related to the brain.

In my maternal family, many have problems with the colon. I've had irritable bowel syndrome for many years. Accordingly, passing stool is irregular which causes me stomachache, bloating and problems with releasing gas.

Now, headache and vomiting are added to the list. I don’t know to which specialist I should go to check out these symptoms, someone specialized in bowel or brain?
