Finding little joys

Writing has always been my emotional outlet, but since I got mental health problems, I found in writing also something that can help me to distract myself from my worrisome symptoms. That is not the only way that helps me to go through my days. Some of my days can be pretty hard to manage, and that's why I have developed numerous coping mechanisms. Besides writing, I also go for a walk in nature in the early morning when people don't disturb me by enjoying the start of the day. I am always accompanied by my father, because of my health problems. We have recently started combining our walks with moderate exercises. Sometimes we jump across the park like children. It can be seen from a side like something bewildering, but we really enjoy ourselves at this moment. And there are not so many people to see us, especially in the morning. So, integrating creativity, movement and short joy moments helps me to go through my day. I am really thankful to my father that he is so supportive to me and I also want to be supportive to my father, so I desperately need to improve my health in order to be able to do it. Now, I can only hug him and say “ Thank you, dad!” but I need to be more supportive to him. I want to do everything possible in order to make my father happy, and I will do it!!
