ZZ is hard of hearing so please before talking to her...
- Get her attention first
- Face her so she can lipread
- Speak slowly and clearly
- Don't talk to her from a distance
- For important notes, write them down to her please
- Avoid talking to her around noise/ when there's noise around
- Give her a break after talking for a while. Due to listening fatigue, she'll get tired.
- Talk on her right (the better ear)
- Introduce the topic before talking
If you have any questions, ZZ will be happy to answer you.
Thanks for your patience!
*I'm going to write these notes down and share them with people where I live. Do you think it's clear what I need? Is there something I should add or remove?
Of course, this is not everything but it's the beginning. Later on, I can explain further to them.

@Double-Zee this is very clearly written!
Thank you!
Which sentence is better? "Avoid talking to her around noise" "Avoid talking to her when there's noise around"
@Double-Zee those 2 are both okay. The second version might be slightly better if you want people to wait until the noise goes away, for example until after a train or truck has passed by.
Ah, thank you!
So what would the first sentence indicate? Not to talk at all around noise?
@Double-Zee they are very similar. "Avoid talking to her around noise" gets your message across :) To me, it implies there's a noisy thing that is always there, e.g. don't talk to her while you're walking in front of the factory. But the difference is probably not very important for the purpose of your note :)
Thank you!
I added two more points to the notes, could you check them out, please?
@Double-Zee I left you comments on the last two points. Sharing your note with others sounds like a good idea to me. It may help you find some conversation partners. Good luck!
¡Muchas gracias, @elAmericanoTranquilo! :)
