Yesterday, the three-day ordeal began for the 270,000 Spanish students trying to get into a public university. Over the next few days, their proficiency and resilience/stamina will be put to the test. They'll have to take tons of tests from early morning until evening—with breaks in between, of course, but the whole thing moves at a pace more suited to a marathon than a competitive selection process.
I totally feel your pain, guys. May luck be with you!🍀

Perfect! No mistakes in the entry. I am curious about the number of students now compared to previous years. In Japan, the number of young people trying university is shrinking.
@T-Newfields Thanks so much for reading. It depens on the year. The number of students taking the PAU (Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad) varies a lot. Two years ago was around 300000, I think. Private universities are really expensive here.
