It was insanely dark when I opened my eyes for the first time, which was really/truly surprising. I had felt the light through my closed eyelids many times before. You lose track of time when you're completely at ease, and silence becomes something else entirely. Then something exceptionally unexpected happens, and you feel slightly uncomfortable, though you don’t know why. Every noise becomes extremely familiar after a while, and you start to recognize patterns. You don't particularly care , but you're fairly intrigued. It's absolutely peaceful and somewhat disturbing. I'm pretty excited to be born tomorrow — it's rather strange but kind of reassuring.

This reminds me of experience in a sensory deprivation tank. See https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanque_de_aislamiento_sensorial
Thanks for sharing! It's just a baby's thought before being born. : )
