An apartment that meets all my requirements has become available, so I’ve decided to take it. My main condition was that it had to be a corner unit—the most difficult type to find. That's what I have now, and it allows me to play the guitar whenever I want. The new place has fewer rooms than my current one, so it won’t be quite the same, but it’s still better than an interior unit. At any rate, I was really lucky to find it—between you and me, if I didn’t found one by the end of this month, the corner unit was no longer going to be a game-changer.
Due to various circumstances, a move in June isn't going to work for me, so I’ve decided to move in early July. I haven’t seen the new apartment yet, but according to Google Street View, it looks like there's a crape myrtle right outside the window—one of my favorites. I did some research on them and I might write about them in a future post.
Today, I bought some matcha at my nearby supermarket. I usually go to a tea shop about 20 minutes away by car, but I couldn’t be bothered to go that far in the middle of preparing for my move. I took one sip and threw it away—it tasted awful, even though it cost almost as much as the good matcha from the tea shop. I shouldn't have settled. As for the apartment, I'm glad I didn't settle.
I've done that before! The matcha I was loyal to was out of stock, and it felt like the world ended. So I bought one at a local store and it was pretty bad... I'm glad you found an apartment you like! I hope it won't be too difficult moving in the heat.
Thank you, @via-chan ! I don’t think it'll be that hot at the beginning of July. And tea always varies in quality, but this is especially true for matcha. You really have to be careful.
So apparently, moving is a bitch in any country! 😵💫
better title: I Found an Apartment!
Thank you as always, Uly! Honestly, it's pretty stressful not being able to enjoy things like studying English or playing guitar as much as usual, but the end is in sight, so I’ll hang in there!
