It feels good to sit down and think after a hectic day. A hot drink completes the perfect trio and restores the balance. I have a few quiet hours ahead of me—time to either think about how to get back on track tomorrow or just relax.
Sometimes I think back to when I first started learning English and what went through my mind at the time. I should've thought better of it—learning a language is a time-consuming task. I reckon I could've mowed a lot of soccer fields if I hadn't committed myself to learning a language I'll never fully master.
I need to think up something before it's too late—or think it over and make the right decision. I'm better at thinking ahead than thinking in hindsight, so next time I get carried away, I'll think twice. I can't think straight when I'm in a bad mood. I'd better sleep on it and stop overthinking.
I don’t know, it seems like your time invested in learning English has paid off
Thank you, @hhh777. Learning isn't the problem. The more time you spend on it, the more your target language improves. The real challenge is maintaining it, no matter your level and that's what really bothers me.
Amazing! ↑ I totally support what you wrote here!
Appreciate the support @yumiyumayume. Not many people agree with me normally. 😀
