I started using an app called Bold Voice in December. BoldVoice is an app designed to improve your pronunciation.
A little before that, I had uploaded a recording on Vocaroo where I introduced my professional background. Now, a bit over three months later, I’ve re-recorded myself to see if I can hear any improvements.
Be the judge!
My recording from November:
And of course, as always, I'm open to hearing about areas for improvement.

The pronunciation has definitely improved. The interesting thing is, the intonation you used caused a bit of cognitive dissonance for me. It makes sense from the perspective of deliberate pronunciation but not from the perspective of a person who's conveying the meaning of the message itself. Sorry if that didn't make sense.
Perhaps you have mixed up the links? The first link's recording has a more natural flow, the short pauses are in a more natural place than the second.
I agree. I didn't focus on the flow at all.
I possibly did mix them up, but the effect on me was the same. I think intonation and pronunciation work together to affect listening comprehension. Sometimes, when one is weak, the other makes up for it, because of the brain’s tendency for pattern recognition.
Idk. In my opinion clarity > flow. I understand it doesn't sound that natural, but I'm not sure if it'd be a great thing with my accent.
Regardless, I can make one flowy recording too, if y'all would like to hear it.
