最近、「三体」を読みました。クリスマスの間にそのネットフリックスの番組を観ました。中国人の刘慈欣（リウ・ツーシン）によるSF小説です。英語では「Three-Body Problem」と呼んで、数学と物理学の有名な問題によっています。二体は互いにニュートンの法則により及ばす制度の場合は、物理学的で運動が分かりやすいですが、他の一体が増やされて、運動は解けなくなる問題です。
物語で、不明な三体の太陽系で運動している惑星に生息している宇宙人は、惑星の運動が分からないから今にも惑星が壊滅されることに気づきます。もっと近くの星に移住すると決めます。距離は4光年だから、旅が400年くらいをかかります。その目的は私達の太陽です。
本当に面白かったです。人間は、宇宙人が嘘をつけないことを利かせます。本は三部作の部分なんだから、他の本を読みたいけど私の近くに本屋は売っていないです。もちろん、英語で読みました。英訳は確かにいいと思いました。

SFが好きですか。私、毎日毎日同じジャンルを読んでいたので、Ursula K. Le Guin の「The Left Hand of Darkness」を読んでみました。SFはあまり好きじゃないと思いますが、この小説がとてもいいと思います。
「A Tale of Earthsea」を読んだことがありますが、Le GuinのSFの本を読んだことがないです。SFはこの世に窓を開けるようにするジャンルだと思います。

If you like the interesting commentary SF offers, Le Guin's SF books are great. They are a little heavy, and I found that reading 20 pages took longer than the books I usually read. I finished one, previously mentioned, and half read another 'The Dispossessed'. 'The left hand of darkness' has an interesting commentary on gender, as the planet the book is set has aliens that cycle through being both male and female -- very interesting. I didn't finish 'The Dispossessed' because I found it a bit slow, but it is about a person going from a planet that is pretty much communist, to a capitalist planet. She also has a few famous SF short stories if you are interested. The way she frames familiar subjects into SF is great.
Seems you do like sci-fi after all 😄
