Wisteria flowers are one of my favorites, and three years ago, I planted both Japanese and American wisteria in my garden. Last year, my American wisteria bloomed while my Japanese one didn't even produce any buds. So, when I discovered two different sized buds on my Japanese wisteria, I was a bit excited. I've known flower buds are usually larger than leaf buds through my experiences.
A couple days ago, I convinced that my Japanese wisteria had finally started developing flower buds. They were apparently much larger than its leaf buds, and they slightly looked already purple. When I saw them, I almost wanted to do a little happy dance!!!
This morning, I noticed they had grown even more! Even though I haven't counted the number of buds, there were lots of them.
I'm so excited that my Japanese wisteria is finally going to bloom! Yahoo!!!
Right now, although my small wisteria trellis doesn't look impressive at all, once the tree grows bigger, it'll become gorgeous.
And here’s another update from my garden! My peach tree finally started blooming a couple days ago. My tree was trimmed too much by the people from the Silver Human Resources Center, but I saw some bees and butterflies were flying over. I really hope it will produce fruit this year as well.
As a gardener, I'll be getting even busier not only taking care of my plants but also because I can't stop checking how much they're growing. I'm so happy my favorite season is finally here!
