English: I haven't written here for a long time because I teach a lot and learn a lot myself. Today, I’m writing for a specific reason: Could you please recommend platforms, preferably free ones, where I can find a speaking partner? I really lack speaking practice in German, especially with native speakers. I want to use the language not only in lessons but also in everyday life. Or maybe there are some German-speaking users here who are learning Russian willing to practice?
Thanks!
Danke!
I wish I had a recommendation! Online platforms I have tried were full of ads and creepy men with ulterior motives. I have just tried to find groups locally. Good luck, I hope you find something!
Hello Daria, I can recommend the Tandem app. Even though it has a lot of ads, it is still one of the best apps to meet with people who learn other languages. You can also check https://www.conversationexchange.com. I myself couldnt find any natives to practice German, but you might be luckier than me. :)
@hhh777 Thank you! @Omerika Danke!
Check out Verbling, http://verbling.com. It’s not free, but you’ll have private lessons with a native speaker. Many of the tutors offer a free trial.
welcome back! You could maybe try Discord - there are plenty of servers out there for German learners and language learners in general, and it's free, too ✨
