In Japan, the weather has been very lovely even though it's mid-November, and I can still harvest summer crops such as green peppers from my garden. Just a couple of days ago, I harvested lots of them.
This summer, I really enjoyed growing tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants and green peppers. Green peppers often turn red as they ripen, and some of mine look red too.
I feel so fortunate because my husband and I can eat fresh, organic veggies and herbs. In my yard, arugula is growing so well too. I absolutely love arugula and I don't even need dressing when I have it.
I used the arugula and the green peppers to fix dinner.
Unfortunately, the cucumber and the tomato weren't homegrown, but I used my homemade miso for the miso soup.

Ma'am, your posts are always entertaining and unique. 💚
Hi @Emaaa2001 Call me, Yumi. Thank you so much for the compliment!!
You're more than welcome, Yumi ♡
Thank you!
I love the peppery taste of arugula too. Your peppers remind me a little of the various chilies that we grow here in the American West. Are your green peppers spicy at all?
Hi @Ersatzjello Although even some Japanese people tend to think especially the red ones taste spicy, none of the green peppers taste spicy at all. I think because of the reason we don't see red peppers in stores.
Glad your garden is bountiful.
Hi, Tim-san( @T-Newfields). Thank you as always for the kind comments!
@yumiyumayume In Spain, we eat arugula in salads with tomato, onion, cucumber and we usually season it with olive oil, vinegar and a little salt.
It is also said in these parts that where olive oil has not arrived, civilisation has not arrived.... :)
@druida Thank you for sharing a part of Spanish culture. It sounds like similar as Italian food culture. I like the saying, and I didn't know that Spanish people love olive oil too.
