I'm waiting for the chicken to defrost. In the meantime, I'm practicing some writing.
I like cooking, but I'm not good at it at all. I mean I enjoy doing it, but I don't like the outcome.
The other day I cooked a mixture of rice and chicken, but it turned out so salty that both my brother and I got headaches.
He had added too much salt to them before putting them in the fridge and had told me about it, but I didn't know that meant I needed to rinse them more than usual before cooking.
I also used too much water, so my rice was mushy.
So now, when my brother asked me to make chicken, I was like, dude! do it yourself. Now his friend is here, too.๐

Hahaha, poor his friend! Did his friend become your brother's food victim?
I'm not good at making rice as well. As for salt, I add so little, if it needs more later, it's easy to add it but not vice versa. :)
@yumiyumayume He survived because he went home early. ๐
@Double-Zee Thatโs a good idea!
Poor chicken! I'll call him Pollino. Poor Pollino gave his life for nothing๐ข. Let's have a minute's silence in memory of our beloved Pollino.
Jokes aside, did you know that salt helps extracting liquids from food more quickly? It's not a good or bad thing in itself; it depends on the recipe. Sometimes you may want to add salt as late as possible.
@Simone- Pollino gave his life in order to stop me from torturing the next one. Thanks for the new info!๐ I had no idea.
