Spanish
El español es mi nuevo idioma. Hace una semana, empecé a estudiar el tiempo pasado de los verbos. Me gustó mucho.

Great job! Your effort and love for the language are evident. Keep it up!
Thank you! There’s so much to take in that isn’t covered in the textbook. Not using pronouns is like a total shift in my psychology even though it makes sense.
Great job! There's already a lot of improvement from your first post to this one 👍🏻🤩 And you totally nailed the use of hace 😉 BTW, I love your avatar and screenname. You should add the diacritics to make it look even cooler: SeñorManís
Thank you for all your edits and explanations! The books barely touch on the subject of omitting pronouns and just using endings to indicate the persons. It has created a whole new mindset for me. But I’m getting used to it. I’m reading a children’s book and I’ve noticed that my eye goes straight to the verb endings now. That in itself has made such a difference. I tried to create my screen name with the diacritics but apparently you can only use letters and numbers. I agree it would look much cooler.
Pronoun usage, especially little ones like “le,” take time to get used to. No way around that. So don’t pressure yourself! I’d personally advise you not to learn them all at once because they became a pile of indistinguishable mush when I tried that.
You’re right! Just learning this le and the fact that it goes in front of the verb was hard enough. But I wrote 10 sentences with it and it really started to sink in.
