Libby's finally arrived in Hungary, however it's called CloudLibrary here. Of course, they're different apps.
For some years now, I've kept hearing about Libby mainly on booktube. It's an ebook app which you can use with your library's membership for borrowing ebooks, and for that matter, audiobooks.
It's one reason to be enraptured about the very concept.
This might be another.*
In Hungary, you can use CloudLibrary for the same purpose (I'm not sure about audiobooks.) Curiously, my local library doesn't have an ebook collection on CL, however, I can be an online member in other, bigger cities' libraries with CL access. So cool, right?
I'm only starting to explore this service, so the most I can tell is I'm super excited. Maybe I'll report back in a 'journaly update' post in the future.
*I'm only joking. Of course, I have no shelf control and of course, I keep buying books accidentally. I just like to jazz up my posts with pictures. Truth be told, this ebook library is going to be a wonderful tool for cheching out some "not so sure about it" novels though.

Hey @Duck-BilledPlatypus!
I enjoyed reading your post a lot! What language(s) are you reading in? And what languages are offered by the service you mentioned?
Hello, these are local libraries, you can read in your mother tongue, at least here in Hungary. There's another app (desktop/mobile app) called Bookmate which is international. A tad bit more pricey, but it's also a bargain solution.
That's interesting! I wish I could stick to reading more, I spend too much time on my phone :(
πI try to stick to background noise (for reading) on my phone or actual ebook apps / audiobook apps. Try . . . π
