Since last winter, my husband and I had been working on a part of our land where we haven't planted anything yet. The land was full of weeds and small rocks, so we had to clear all of them out first and add better soils. Recently, we finally finished some parts of there. Although we still have more work to do, we've planted some vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, green-peppers and eggplants. Every day, I check out the vegetable garden to make sure their growing condition. They are growing very well, and it makes me smile.
Yesterday, I planted some chamomile. If I want to plant more, I'll need to cultivate more land. This week I probably will spend my spare time to cultivate there for planting more chamomile and some other herbs. It's getting muggy here, and I feel like I am exercising. Sweating makes me feel so refreshed.
Now, I am really looking forward to harvesting products. I sincerely hope for a good harvest.

I also love growing vegetables. I know the feeling of watching them grow. It takes patience, but it's worth it. Good luck with your crops. : )
Hi, @Coral Nice to meet you. Thank you for the comment. What vegetables are you growing right now?
Nice to meet you too, @yumiyumayume. Last year I was obsessed with lettuces, and this year I have 4 different kinds of tomato plants. I have very little space. I don't use pesticides or insecticides and bugs drive me crazy.π I'm going to try to get rid of them with ash bleach. Tomato plants are very picky.
I've never tried lettuces. I don't use pesticides either. I am planning on planting some basil next to tomatoes. I've heard that basil keep off bugs because of the smell. I hate bugs too.
I've heard that too, but It hasn't quite worked. I've heard that ash bleach works as an insecticide, fungicide and fertilizer at the same time. And also that you don't have to wait to eat tomatoes safely. Just rinsing them as you normally would is enough.
Thank you so much for the information. I'd love to try it!
You're welcome
Good luck with gardening, @yumiyumayume! I was also into it earlier and my favourites were herbs because most of them are really easy to grow. Chamomile has such a unique scent, it's one of my favourites! Besides, it requires quite little care as it can grow in the driest spots of the garden. I feel so grateful to these plants for being there while asking for so little.
Thank you for the comment, @polyglotsparadise. I love growing herbs too. First I started growing herbs until I got used to growing something. I understand how you feel very well. I'm in the same way.
