[poem] Loleliness

by

She is leaning against a wall,

Nonstop dreaming about someone

Who, she knows that, will never call.

Her eyes are damp, her face is drawn.

She could not help reading again

And again texts that bring her pain.

By doing that, she joins a way,

On which she can only see gray.

She expects an infinite road.

Why does not she work with a code?

She could press a key, leave the loops,

[end of while], she feels free and droops .

Unfortunately, she does not

Work through the issues like a bot.

But she is trying to analyse,

She is trying to rationalise.

Even when she understands,

Torment is there, it never ends.

She remembers a time when she

Could close her eyes, just fall asleep.

Today, she always has to keep

Her brain, her mind, her thoughts busy

To stop brooding over the past,

But the time off will never last.

Of course she knows she has friends,

They help her a lot. But she bends

To weakness, says a pack of lies :

"Everything is fine, I'm okay."

And then she clearly feels guilty.

It adds one more difficulty,

Like it wasn't enough for her,

She just puts on herself pressure.

She doesn't want to cry "Mayday!"

Rather bitter tears of sadness,

Distress, helplessness and darkness.

All that describes loneliness.
