I was previously renting an an apartment with three other girls but they all recently moved out. I came to my Motherland and thought I would be working remotely, but we've been told to work offline. So I had to find a new apartment and new roommates again. A coworker and I agreed to get a place together. She wanted us to get a studio apartment just for the two of us, but it is still too expensive and I thought about getting a two-bedroom flat for four of us. In the end, I decided to move into a dormitory that is provided at work. It is much cheaper and there would only be two people in each room, but with shared showers per floor. When I was a freshman, I lived in a dormitory that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. But there are better conditions. Hope it will be ok!
Good writing. You mentioned your motherland and it looks like Russian is your main language, so I'm curious if you are living in Moscow since I imagine that housing is very expensive there. I hope living in the dormitory works out well for you, Zere! Good luck!
Good luck with the dormitory. Hopefully this time around the experience will be more positive.
Zere, this one was a bit rough. There were parts that didn't sound too natural and also parts that need explanation because they weren't clear. Please let me know if I can explain any of my corrections to you.
@Erin, yes, my main language is Russian. I have lived in Moscow only one year though) Currently I am going to go to Nur-Sultan - it is the capital of Kazakhstan. Housing here is not as expensive as in Moscow, but still expensive. I can rent an apartment though but decided instead spend these money on something more useful😅 Thank you!
@A_C I hope so too! Thank you!
@CocoPop I was sleepy when I wrote the text, but still decided to be consistent and write something. That's why probably I was inattentive and made many mistakes) Also I see that I have to use language books with grammar and stylistics - something I don't like very much 😅 Thank you for your corrections and explanations!
@Zere: Always a pleasure! I just wrote my first post without the help of a dictionary, so I know how hard it is.
Oh, God! I remember living in a dorm during my freshman year. It was a hot mess! We had one shower room for 3 floors! Bruh... Hope your dorm is in better condition cause it's important to live in a place you like.
Thank you! I chose to rent an apartment though))
