This Tuesday marks this year's winter solstice for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. After the solstice, the days begin to get longer, heralding the approach of spring.
What is winter like where you live? Is it snowing, raining, or something else? Do you have any special foods (eggnog, hot cocoa) or activities (skiing, making snowmen) that you only enjoy in winter?
What do you like about winter? What do you not like about winter?
What's your favorite season? Why?

hi, arka!
the winter in my country is different in each region. some places are more cold and others still hot. in the region i live in, the winter is more intense, but even though we don’t have snow. personally, i don’t like this season too much since it’s hard to do small things like get up in the morning, take a shower or just exist. haha
however, i have something that i love about winter days: when it’s sunny, the sky doesn’t have a single cloud and isn’t too cold. i truly like days like that.
now about special foods of this season, actually, i don’t eat anything special, but we have a delicious dessert here - i googled it and this dish is from Asia. i thought that it was from another country from Latin America. if you translate to the letter, the name of this dessert will be sweet rice, but i know in neighboring countries like Argentina they call it arroz (con) tres leches. i really love this dessert!
as i said before, it doesn't snow here so i never made a snowman or went skiing. who knows one day i can do these things.
tuesday will start summer here, so i wish you a great winter and an amazing summer for me.
