Right now, I'm trying to write this post while my little girl is trying to convince me to play with her barbie dolls, and my son is asking me every 2 minutes if I've finished my work and if I'm ready to play on his PlayStation with him.
Today is Sunday morning. After I corrected my previous post, thanks to your help, I told myself I'd to sit down and start writing a new post. Reading the above paragraph, you'll understand I didn't have to look far this time to find a subject for my new post :)
I have two wonderful kids, a boy and a girl, six and four and a half years old, respectively.
I spend a lot of time with my kids and we play a lot of games together, especially board games, but I need to find time to do my own private things during the course of the day. All of you out there who you have kids too, you know that's a real feat!
Today I'm alone with the children because my wife is at work and the day goes like this:
I tidy up the house all the time because they leave their toys here and there, they need something to eat all the time and it goes without saying that I have to serve them, and in addition, they argue constantly about everything and anything and I have to be the referee.
I've accepted the fact that I'm my kids' butler!
Despite all that, I love my kids with all my heart! and if there are days where my patience is running thin, I say to myself "Dimi, be patient, they'll grow up someday and you'll have a little more free time to yourself" .
Thanks for reading! :)
Dimi, that was so well written and so touching (I have tears in my eyes). Children are so beautiful and it's so important to make such wonderful, happy memories for them. God bless you and your family)))
Thank you very much for your kind words :) I'm very happy I didn't make a lot of mistakes on this one! :)
Your English is on fire!)))
Isn't "Your" the right word in your sentence above? I'm confused ...
Sorry, I dictated that message and didn't check it. All fixed!
Don't worry! That's why I'm here...to correct your English! Haha :)
Good deal, Dimi! What would I do without you)))
