I've been finding language learning really helpful for my daily life. Almost all the time, I'm studying in my desk and trying to understand all the new words, structures and grammar patterns. However, this month, I came to appreciate the usefulness of language study and how it applies to other aspects of my life. Studying four hours a day for eight month, I developed a wonderful habit that makes me more disciplined in my college career, in my own research, and furthermore, in my artistic career. I used to waste my time watching the same tv shows over and over again. But ever since I started learning English, I've grown up, and now, I've found a more mature approach to my study time, and more importantly, to my life overall.
Having started using a schedule for my language learning, I've finally become organized. A couple months before I decided to start learning English, on a regular Monday, I'd have been worried about what I'd watch on tv. But now, the biggest worry I have at the beginning of the week is not having enough time for my language study, for writing scripts and for reading all the books that I want to read.
Now I tend to be a pretty organized person, and almost all of that is because of my language learning (...and also because of my university, pretty much)
Very good essay and initiative! Bravo)))
