As a Japanese, it’s rare to become friends with someone from Egypt. And I am a lucky person.

He’s my friend and also my English teacher. During the last class, he talked about camels and it was such a great story to listen to.

According to him, camels are still very important and common form of transport for Egyptians, especially for people in rural areas.

He also said that camels can listen to people, not everyone but someone trained to be able to speak to camels, and the camels keep the promise they made before the departure.

They only walk as far as they have been told by their handler, so you must feed them for a week in advance if you want them to travel one week and you never feed them during the journey . They will gradually digest the food and water as they go.

I had no idea that camels were such mysterious animals!
