Launo mietti, yrittäisikö vielä. He olivat lähteneet autolla, ja vaikka hän ei ollut ehtinyt seurata, hän saattoi ainakin arvata, minne seuraavaksi voisi mennä. Tuomaksen koti oli matkan varrella, ainakin, jos sieltä aikoi keskustaan tai sen kautta jonnekin muualle. Jos he menivät sinne, auton olisi pakko näkyä kadulla - talolla ei ollut omaa autotallia, vain kapea piha ja pari vuokrattua ruutua kadun varressa.

Launo wondered whether he should try more. They had left by car, and even though he hadn't had time to catch up, he could at least guess where to go next. Tuomas' home was along the way, at least, if you started from there to the downtown or to somewhere else through the downtown. If they had gone there, the car must've been visible on the street - the house didn't have its own garage but only a narrow yard and a couple of rented square spaces along the street.
